The reason for opening this thread is to help people upgrading to the new SMO version if issues arise.

I got recently a new laptop where I only installed SQL Server 2008, when I tried to recompile the SQLRunner solution I realised that the DMO libraries were not available anymore. Since SQLRunner was created we were aware of the existence of SMO and it has been an outstanding task to replace the DMO libraries. Well, I just done so last week and the code has been checked-in. The proposed new SMO version will be 3.5.0.0; at the moment I am testing the deployment of the SMO libs. Something that I was not expecting is the number of issues in relation to this aspect.

SMO libraries installation:

Please note that these two MSI packages will be included within the future release but I noticed that there are some people already downloading the latest code and they may encounter problems if the mentioned packages are not installed.
